xfq has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/iip: == Letter spacing == https://www.w3.org/TR/ilreq/#h_letter_spacing > Letter spacing in Indian Languages is used . In some of the languages like Bengali it is more prevalent . In Hindi , which is the largest speaking language in India the character spacing is sometimes used. We can consider adding relevant sections to [Bengali](https://www.w3.org/International/ilreq/bengali/) and [Devanagari](https://www.w3.org/International/ilreq/devanagari/) Layout Requirements and write about related requirements, such as letter-spacing must not split conjuncts etc. Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/iip/issues/138 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
