aphillips has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/i18n-activity: == Glyph image generation from Unicode [I18N-ACTION-1274] == https://www.w3.org/International/track/actions/1274 See: https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/member-i18n-core/2023Jun/0001.html This issue is to track progress by the Unicode Consortium related to the generation of glyph images and potentially the export of glyph images in formats such as SVG or PNG for download and use in specifications (and other applications). @r12a and @aphillips had a conversation with Mark Davis about this and we intend to follow up on this over time. Mark noted that existing open source fonts, such as the Noto set, might be used to provide partial coverage and that Unicode would need time donated by software developer(s) to build this into their process.
