韓国語や中国語の漫画で波ダッシュ類（〰 〜 ~ ）が使われているのが分かったので、KLREQ や CLREQ ではどう書かれているのか思い、確認してみました。 - KLREQ (Requirements for Hangul Text Layout and Typography): https://www.w3.org/TR/klreq/ - CLREQ (Requirements for Chinese Text Layout): https://www.w3.org/TR/clreq/ KLREQでは波ダッシュ類について説明している記述が見つけられません。しかし、 [2.1.1 Hangul Code Ranges in Unicode](https://www.w3.org/TR/klreq/#hangulcodes) のところなどで、 > Hangul Syllables: U+AC00 ~ U+D7A3 > 완성형 한글: U+AC00 ~ U+D7A3 のように範囲を表すのに ~ (U+007E TILDE) が使われています。 CLREQでは、[3.1.1.2 Indicator Punctuation Marks](https://www.w3.org/TR/clreq/#indication_punctuation_marks)の[6. Connector Marks.](https://www.w3.org/TR/clreq/#id85)で、次のように説明があります: > Connector marks are used to indicate the beginning and end of time or space, to indicate quantity, to express the name of a chemical compound, to label a table or illustration, to connect a house number in an address, for a phone number, to separate digits which indicate the year, month and date, or to connect compound nouns and for the romanization, as well as the foreign text in the content. > > According to the Punctuation Guidance (revised edition) issued by the Ministry of Education in Taiwan, connector symbols include U+2013 EN DASH [–] and U+FF5E FULLWIDTH TILDE [～] or U+007E TILDE [~]. 接続記号として U+2013 EN DASH [–] と U+FF5E FULLWIDTH TILDE [～] か U+007E TILDE [~] が使われるとのことです。 U+301C WAVE DASH [〜] と U+3030 WAVY DASH [〰] については書かれていません。 このような U+007E TILDE [~] と U+FF5E FULLWIDTH TILDE の使われ方をみると、Unicodeのカテゴリーでこれらの文字が数学用記号（Sm - Symbol, math）となっているのをダッシュ類（Pd - Punctuation, dash）に直した方がよいような気がしてきます。 -- GitHub Notification of comment by MurakamiShinyu Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/jlreq/issues/298#issuecomment-956107729 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
