@r12a I tend to agree. I do not like the idea of dividing people based on if they have w3cid. Can we change the document system if it mandates the w3cid that not necessarily all have? What is the benefit of the work of finding past editors' contact emails, writing them and asking a favour of creating a w3cid which was not necessary at the time they participated?
