I'm going through this now for a spec, and I think the above response highlights that boolean checkboxes are not sufficient. It seems like a tri-state is needed: * N/A - this is irrelevant to the specification (example: for an API that handles strings but not dates, that section is irrelevant; for an API that handles plain text and not markup, and/or does not render text, the layout questions are irrelevant) * Yes - all is good; the recommendations are followed to the letter (e.g. UTF-8 is used as the encoding) * No - this likely signals a problem (e.g. sorting is not locale-aware) -- GitHub Notification of comment by inexorabletash Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/bp-i18n-specdev/issues/23#issuecomment-621385950 using your GitHub account
