Let me give an example of a case we are struggling with. We have a function that is defined to remove all whitespace from a string. We really need advice on which characters should then be removed; should we be removing U+2000-2009? John apparently thinks not. Well if not, why not? We would like an explanation of what ought to be considered whitespace, and what not.
