Mostafa: Najib has added Arabic translations for some of
glossary items.
<Shervin> Najib, since you're not on the call, do you have
anything to mention regarding glossary work you've done?
… and Sallar did the same for Persian.
<najib> yes
<najib> I add commas to separate more translations. Some terms
might be composed of two or three words.
<najib> Some terms don't seem relevant "Bicameral"?
<najib> That's it
<Shervin> Thanks, Najib.
<Shervin> ScribeNick: Shervin
<najib> More translations to be added. Keep action 5 ?
<scribe> ScribeNick: Mostafa
Mostafa: Richard mentioned in the emails that we should use
CLDR to populate the tables. I agree.
<r12a> public-alreq-admin list is for admin only, technical
discussion belong on public-i18n-arabic list
Richard: GitHub issues hase a better discussions platform for
this work.
Shervin: GitHub issues doesn’t have excellent support for
attachments.
… I suggest to start drafting work on Google Doc and add a
GitHub issue for dicussion.
… If you are prepared for a PR, make a PR.
… About the first draft, I’m not sure tables inside the
document will work fine, becaue they can be very big.
<Shervin> close action-6
<trackbot> Closed action-6.
… I’m not sure what is the right approach for it, so I’ll see
and get back to you about it next week.
Mostafa: These tables are supposed to go the end of the
document in the appendix.
<Shervin> Najib, do you have any update for us regarding action
number 7?

<Shervin> Najib, we briefly looked over the draft you have for
font and typo consideration. Do you mind if we change the
action item you had for adding more content to that?
<najib> OK
Richard: Since the work on this issue is minimal, I recommend
changing the action item’s title to “develop some more text for
this section.”
... I just made that change to this action item #7 in the

for drafting.

Shervin: Sallar added some terms for Persian translations and
Najib and Azzeddine addes some Arabic translations.
... We should follow a specific orthography here. Some terms
are not written correctly.
<Shervin> Najib, we're talking about glossary work. Do you want
to add anything to the conversation?
<najib> I m fine
<Shervin> Just a second, Najib.
Wassem: I want to stay in the loop with the glossary work and
I’ll find a way to put more effort and contribute to the work
when I’m less busy.
<najib> Some specific question like orthography could be done
by email.
<r12a> or github issues ;-)
<najib> in a live fashion.
<najib> YES! github issues
<Shervin> najib, sure. I agree with that. Is there anything
else you want to add?
<najib> Fine :-)
Drafting status and prioritization
Shervin: I’ll send an email to people to see how I can help to
speed up the effort on the glossary.
... Regarding drafitng: Najib and Mostafa produced some text.
I’ll move these to GitHub, so that we can continue to discuss
and work on the text.
<Shervin> Najib, regarding the drafting that section you're
working on, is there anything you would like to talk about?
<najib> Not for the moment.
Mostafa: Moving to GitHub is a great idea. Will enable us to
discuss specific issues of each topic and section, like
Richard’s note about mentioning that we are focusing on Arabic
and Persian languages only at the moment.
<najib> right! May be a server problem.
<najib> I'll check that out with our system team
