Hello Hypertext CG, The SVG WG has finished it's evaluation of the requirements for SVG2. We have a record of this on our wiki http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/WG/wiki/SVG2_Requirements_Input Next steps (writing proposals for agreed new features, adding text to the specification) are planned out on this page http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/WG/wiki/SVG2_Planning_Page SVG WG is meeting soon in Hamburg, Germany. This meeting is colocated with the CSS WG and there will be joint CSS-SVG WG discussions (FX taskforce). A first public working draft of SVG2 is planned for July 2012. We also plan to have a two-site, videoconference linked f2f meeting in Seattle and Paris, in July, and to meet at the graphical Web conference in Zurich in September.
