Hydra difference to established Web API descriptions

Sorry for the increased noise on that mailing list.
I have another question about a different topic.

Can you tell me, what is the exact difference of Hydra compared to
established Semantic Web API descriptions like OWL-S, WSMO, Restful
Grounding, etc?

I didn't understand yet, why you invented something new.
A pointer to a paper would be enough if you have one.
