Hi all,

Regarding use of Slack, I think it can be of great use to support the mailing list and github issues as a sort of triage or clearing house. For instance, if a question is asked then it is possible that someone could field it immediately or could say that it was best asked on the mailing list instead, with many work items eventually ending up on the github issue list.
