Hi All, I've managed to be able to concentrate enough to do some work, which is - work in progress... https://mediaprophet.github.io/init-draft-standards-wip/ It's basically providing an update on work that's been done over a long period of time, whilst the documentation is still in its very early stages. mostly generated with genAI. expect lots of changes. There are several components atm, some might be incorporated - fairly sure, i've missed a few and there's other stuff that's yet to be done - ie: RDF versions of https://www.ohchr.org/en/instruments-listings which kinda relies upon some of the underlying notions, such as - to provide context! also, not sure whether and/or how W3C should get involved in some elements, notwithstanding efforts over the many years to better support means for others (ie: UN https://metadata.un.org/?lang=en ) to improve their means to do so. nonetheless - FYI. not all of it is - perhaps - primarily - via W3C related 'internet governance' associated structural process considerations, Works that could be progressed - in some cases, its an IETF thing, in those and others, the means to better support different sorts of 'information management' ecosystems, somewhat requires the means to support illustration of the technical means through which any such alternative might work. There are also implications about ontology in relation to 'the web' vs. internet, more broadly as a whole. I fully expect, some of the implications to invoke philosophical considerations; https://medium.com/webcivics/a-future-knowledge-age-2e3f5095c67 or moreover, https://www.w3.org/2007/09/map/main.jpg short version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qL1b9xVMoqU longer version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQ4kl-KwOG8 www94 note; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkjyCPuTKPw As some may see, considerations invoke deliberations about a 'semantic' framework for the internet, more broadly than was the case for WWW earlier otherwise. NGI = Human Centric Internet. I believe there's alot of ontological works to do, perhaps also - new patterns.. Yet, these are just my views... often, difficult to describe better... *IGF 2025* IGF starts next in a couple of days- https://www.igf2025.no/ I was invited - but couldn't find the funds to go. as the work on the spreadsheet of 'human centric ai' news and content is starting to show (noting, there's alot more to add to that workbook / csv related db), https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BdFy5m-J5Lj5LnYxDY7d06MtKaUw3G3UqaLWKnuwptk/edit?gid=1949704706#gid=1949704706 The 'human centric' journey, had alot to do with 'the nordic region', https://github.com/okffi/mydata/commit/05d4600edaea190760cf931e0e5a69f5695fd0d7 https://raw.githubusercontent.com/okffi/mydata/refs/heads/gh-pages/en/pdf/MyData-nordic-model.pdf Hope that helps! I'll provide an update when enough is done to justify doing so.
