Hi Michael, Thanks for taking this on. 1. *Why did you join this group?* What drew you to this community, and what interests you most about human-centric AI? I'm worried that modern conceptions of "human-centric" and "AI" will accelerate negative outcomes for most of us 2. *What do you hope to get out of this group?* Are there specific goals or outcomes you're aiming for, whether they're personal, professional, or broader in nature? Collaboration with others promoting alternatives to essentialism 3. *What do you hope to contribute?* Do you have any particular skills, experiences, or perspectives you're excited to share? What role do you see yourself playing within the group? I'm particularly interested in processism and anticipatory systems (as per relational biology) 4. *What would you like to see the group do?* Are there specific projects, discussions, or initiatives you believe we should prioritize? Ensure participation reflects the global population Define "human-centric" and "AI" considering contemporary knowledge from diverse cultures Avoid "unconscious incompetence" that would otherwise serve the interests of dominant power structures Avoid the dominance of Western perspectives Regards, Mark On Fri, Sep 6, 2024 at 6:12 PM Michael Robbins < michael@learningpathmakers.org> wrote: > 🌍🤖 *Let’s Shape the Future Together* 🚀 > > Hello everyone, > > I’m Michael Robbins, and I’m pleased to be the new chair of the > Human-Centric AI Community Group with the W3C.
