Namaste Michael Robbins Thanks for asking right questions. Tim’s work triggered me with similar questions. My responses for your questions placed below: 1. Why did you join this group? What drew you to this community, and what interests you most about human-centric AI? BVK Sastry (1): Human Dignity- Freedom- Purpose. Humans are to be benefitted by Technology. Humans should not be AI driven slaves/ agents working for life using A I Programmed Techno-devices. 2. What do you hope to get out of this group? Are there specific goals or outcomes you're aiming for, whether they're personal, professional, or broader in nature? BVK Sastry (2): L.A. My journey in technology and education has been centered around creating meaningful connections between humans and digital systems. For the past three decades, I’ve been deeply involved in integrating technology into human learning networks. Now it's crucial to refocus our efforts on putting humans at the center of AI. I’m particularly passionate about building learning ecosystems of AI agents that humans control, and creating a new digital public commons for them with SPACE for everyone (Safety, Privacy, Autonomy, Collaboration, and Efficacy). This is the human-centric alternative to so-called Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). I'd love to hear more from all of you to shape our discussions and activities moving forward. To that end, I'd like to pose a few questions: 1. Why did you join this group? What drew you to this community, and what interests you most about human-centric AI? 2. What do you hope to get out of this group? Are there specific goals or outcomes you're aiming for, whether they're personal, professional, or broader in nature? 3. What do you hope to contribute? Do you have any particular skills, experiences, or perspectives you're excited to share? What role do you see yourself playing within the group? 4. What would you like to see the group do? Are there specific projects, discussions, or initiatives you believe we should prioritize? Feel free to share your thoughts on any or all of these questions, or anything else you'd like us to consider. This is a space for open dialogue, and all perspectives are welcome. We have a ton of expertise to tap into but let’s keep things top-level and not get into particular technical solutions yet. Thank you, and I'm looking forward to our collaboration!
