Safety protocols: inc. solid protocol

Hi all,

I've been caught up with life stuff.

In any case,

Part of what I'd like the group to achieve is a series of safety protocols,
addressing various areas of concern.  One is ensuring portability.  I think
solid protocol is the lead candidate for providing vital tooling required
to achieve a solution for these usecase.
