Group deliberation, an AI priority

Group response, addressing Adam and his query re: AI-support of group deliberation.

I am glad you brought this up Adam, sharing not only a general "we need this" but a list of potentialities. To me the list, which transcends specific and common political contentions, makes it clear that such a goal is to some degree achievable.

In support, I observe 1) ongoing political divisions, 2) the importance of across-ideology traction to bring focus on SDGs instead and 3) increase of people gathering again, where peaceful gatherings might be promoted if AI-enhanced. It makes a great deal of sense to argue that this constitutes an urgent priority in the field.
