Draft: Call To Action - What is #HumanCentricAI

Hi All,

As i'm working on the set-up stuff, one of the thoughts / considerations,
that i have some level of concern and/or consideration about, is that -
often 'w3c cg' stuff - can be very dry, with few involved, and without the
sort of input that might be usefully important, for helping the group,
figure out how to deliver better outcomes. So, one of the ideas i had was
this idea, about getting community from wherever, engaged in producing
various forms of creative and/or human expression, about what sort of world
they want, and in-turn, what sorts of characteristics and considerations
they want to be part, of how HumanCentricAI is defined in future...

Then the other consideration was, that existing works are moving quickly,
and it's so very difficult to resource works for 'human centric' outcomes,
particularly as many of the contributors lack resources, which I consider
to be in-part, a consequence of the issues associated with the different
sort of 'ideology'.

So, my thinking about how to quickly scale, was that - whilst obviously,
all should be welcomed to participate in the CG, perhaps also - group
leads, could coordinate, to provide insights from all of these digital
communities, and through those means - perhaps improve our capacity to be
better resourced, as to support our ability to deliver better outcomes,
become better informed, etc...

So, I put together this draft[1] and sent it out to various AI communities.

*"Calling all artists, thinkers, technologists, and visionaries! I am
excited to announce this international ‘call to action’ to help us define
the future of Human-Centric AI. We invite you to dream, imagine and then
communicate in the form of short videos, interactive works, images, audio,
or written form, your ideas, in the hope that they might help us all,
better define and illustrate what Human-Centric AI should mean to any and
all members of our human family."*

Note; When I initially drafted something quickly, via ChatGPT-4, the
output declared the concept to be a collaboration with the international
peers, and various other issues; including the 'submission' concepts,
etc... The modifications seek to illustrate the idea, that - they don't
really need to submit it, they can - sure - but - the main 'call to
action', is for people to more simply - just communicate, what their views
are, what they're ideas are - their creative works, in a way that may be
found useful; without a globally centralised gatekeeper / need to submit
it, in-order to be provided dignity for useful / good work...

If you've got any suggestions let me know. This isn't intended to be a CG
Project - although, if the group wanted to turn it into one, i'm fine with
that idea also - i was just, considerate, that it is important to get the
group set-up and ready for us to figure stuff out, vote on things; before
they become 'official cg' stuff.

Contributions and/or feedback is welcomed.

Timothy Holborn.
