Dear HTTPSLocal members,
I would like to announce HTTPSLocal CG's work status to share our current
work items and progress and let newcomers know the overview of the CG's
tools. We co-chairs are highly expecting your comments and proposals.
*Our Tools*
- Our goals and use cases are shown in the CG charter and the Use Cases
document. Both documents are still live documents.
- The CG Charter: https://httpslocal.github.io/cg-charter/
- The Use Cases document:
https://github.com/httpslocal/usecases/blob/master/UseCases.md
- We are having discussions on our GitHub organization:
https://github.com/httpslocal.
- All members can create a new issue and a new Pull Request on the
existing repos in the GH organization.
- If you wish to create a new repo for a new topic, please feel free
to propose it via our mailing list.
- Our mailing list mailto:public-httpslocal@w3.org
<public-httpslocal@w3.org> is available, as well.
*Current Work Items and Progress*
- We have collected the sufficient number of use cases:
https://github.com/httpslocal/usecases/blob/master/UseCases.md. However,
any additional proposals are still welcome.
- Editing the initial draft of Requirements document has been almost
completed:
https://github.com/httpslocal/usecases/blob/master/Requirements.md. This
document might require technical review and feasibility study as a next
step.
- To share relevant technical specifications and discussions outside the
CG, the RelevantSpecs document is available and continuously updated:
https://github.com/httpslocal/usecases/blob/master/RelevantSpecs.md. It
is anticipated that we could figure out our solutions by re-using and/or
modifying some of them.
- *Any technical idea or proposal that could satisfy the Requirements is
strongly welcome*.
- For further details, please refer to issues in the Use Cases repo:
https://github.com/httpslocal/usecases/issues.
Thanks,
Tomoyuki Shimizu, a co-chair of HTTPSLocal CG
