HTML-ISSUE-178 (uri-scheme-notation): Don't include colon in examples of URI scheme names [HTML 5 spec] http://www.w3.org/html/wg/tracker/issues/178 Raised by: Julian Reschke On product: HTML 5 spec RFC 3986 specifies a ":" character as a delimiter, and everything before it in the URI is a scheme name. So it is incorrect to point to eg. 'http:' scheme because it literally leads to URI like "http:://smth.org/". Please see <http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=13721>.
