HTML-ISSUE-189 (uri-web-prefix): Prefix convention needs to be coordinated with IETF [HTML 5 spec]

http://www.w3.org/html/wg/tracker/issues/189

Raised by: Julian Reschke
On product: HTML 5 spec

<http://dev.w3.org/html5/spec/Overview.html#web-scheme-prefix> introduces a naming convention for URI schemes.

This needs to be discussed with the standards body who assigns URIs, the IETF.

Note that this is *not* simply an IANA consideration that can be taken care of once the spec is done.
