hmph, I did flag that one at the time it was submitted as relying on a spec bug being fixed. and it notes it again in a comment.

My understanding of that bug is that the definition of innerhtml will move to Element in the dom-parsing spec, and then would apply to mathml elements.

Is that understanding wrong?
