DOM Tests
Next Item I wanted to mention was about the HTML DOM Tests
I posted (krisk) a list of tests that appear wrong per the HTML5
spec
<plh> [7]http://www.w3.org/2007/03/dom-tests/
[7] http://www.w3.org/2007/03/dom-tests/
<plh> [8]http://www.w3.org/2007/03/dom-tests/intro
[8] http://www.w3.org/2007/03/dom-tests/intro
I'll take a look at that and see if we can leverage
Here is the list of test that I think are incorrect
Replace the last part with the page referenced
[9]http://www.w3.org/2004/04/ecmascript/level2/html/HTMLDocument03.h
tml -> domain to be set and not empty
[9] http://www.w3.org/2004/04/ecmascript/level2/html/HTMLDocument03.html
The next set is case(s) that don't have an absolute path
[10]http://www.w3.org/2004/04/ecmascript/level2/html/button03.html
-> should expect absolute path
[10] http://www.w3.org/2004/04/ecmascript/level2/html/button03.html
[11]http://www.w3.org/2004/04/ecmascript/level2/html/HTMLAppletEleme
nt05.html -> should expect absolute path
[11] http://www.w3.org/2004/04/ecmascript/level2/html/HTMLAppletElement05.html
[12]http://www.w3.org/2004/04/ecmascript/level2/html/HTMLBodyElement
02.html -> should expect absolute path
[12] http://www.w3.org/2004/04/ecmascript/level2/html/HTMLBodyElement02.html
[13]http://www.w3.org/2004/04/ecmascript/level2/html/object06.html
-> should expect absolute path
[13] http://www.w3.org/2004/04/ecmascript/level2/html/object06.html
The next case appears wrong it gets the wrong frame (getElementById
typo?)
I have not seen a browser pass this test
HTMLFrameElement09.html -> test acquires wrong frame, thus title is
wrong
The last one is appear wrong, it expects the refereer attribute to
be empty
The referrer should be set
HTMLDocument02.html -> referrer should be set and not empty
I plan on submitting the HTML DOM Tests to CVS, copy from old
location
The first checkin the files will be untouched
For each 'case' I'll update the tests that are impacted
I'll also checkin the page that can load up the tests and the needed
include files
