Oops, recent changes made it impossible for an image to be served from a cache while top-level. Make it possible for anything that isn't HTML or XML to be served that way. (HTML and XML need the manifest='' attribute.) The algorithm must be passed the Document object, and the document-is-markup flag must be set to true. http://people.w3.org/mike/diffs/html5/spec/Overview.1.1883.html#parser-appcache 5.7.5 Matching a fallback namespace http://people.w3.org/mike/diffs/html5/spec/Overview.1.1883.html#matching-a-fallback-namespace Editor's Draft 28 January 2009 http://people.w3.org/mike/diffs/html5/spec/Overview.1.1883.html#editor-s-draft-date-zzz-9-june-2008 5.9.8 Navigating to a fragment identifier http://people.w3.org/mike/diffs/html5/spec/Overview.1.1883.html#scroll-to-fragid 5.9.4 Page load processing model for text files http://people.w3.org/mike/diffs/html5/spec/Overview.1.1883.html#read-text http://people.w3.org/mike/diffs/html5/spec/Overview.diff.html http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/html5/spec/Overview.html?r1=1.1882&r2=1.1883&f=h http://html5.org/tools/web-apps-tracker?from=2712&to=2713 =================================================================== RCS file: /sources/public/html5/spec/Overview.html,v retrieving revision 1.1882 retrieving revision 1.1883 diff -u -d -r1.1882 -r1.1883 --- Overview.html 27 Jan 2009 23:22:51 -0000 1.1882 +++ Overview.html 28 Jan 2009 01:23:44 -0000 1.1883 @@ -8,7 +8,7 @@

HTML 5

A vocabulary and associated APIs for HTML and XHTML
-
Editor's Draft 27 January 2009
+
Editor's Draft 28 January 2009

- This specification is the 27 January 2009 Editor's Draft. + This specification is the 28 January 2009 Editor's Draft.

This specification is also being produced by the WHATWG.
