type aliases' discussion

fyi: I have started a discussion on the RDF WG on the general issue of aliases (not only for type) for RDF(S) terms[1]. Let us see where it goes... If there was a more general solution, then a general URI of the form

http://w3.org/rdf/type

or something similar, might be an acceptable, though suboptimal, compromise...
