Hello HTML5 devs! In section 2.2.4 HTML5 says: It is motivated by the desire to have implementations be compatible with legacy HTML content while still supporting the changes that this specification introduces to HTML regarding the namespace used for HTML elements, and by the desire to use XPath 1.0 rather than XPath 2.0. ....and by the desire to use XPath 1.0 rather than XPath 2.0. Comment: Does the above sentence say, that it is desired by the HTML5 spec to use XPath 1.0? Or do you want to express, that there are implementations that still like to use XPath 1.0 and it should be compatible to these? Thanks for clarification Stefan
