Hello, In summary, regarding the production of seeking: the asynchronous behaviour of steps 5-12 causes unexpected, unwanted behaviour when getting the currentTime immediately after it's been set. I've filed a bug that contains all the information necessary for making an educated decision concerning the 15 step production for "Seeking" http://www.w3.org/TR/html5/video.html#seeking The bug: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/process_bug.cgi The subject has been previously discussed by the whatwg list here: http://lists.whatwg.org/htdig.cgi/whatwg-whatwg.org/2011-January/029961.html Every major browser vendor has implemented a "fixed" version of the spec - which lends credence to the broken specification claim. Thank you for your time. Rick Waldron
