Bug ID: 29481
Summary: Adding additional attributes to HTMLMediaElement
Product: HTML.next
Version: unspecified
Hardware: PC
OS: All
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: default
Assignee: dave.null@w3.org
Reporter: sworddragon2@aol.com
QA Contact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org
CC: mike@w3.org, robin@w3.org
Target Milestone: ---
HTMLMediaElement contains several attributes and on developing now for a while
I have noticed that some useful attributes are missing:
- An attribute that contains the frames per second currently being displayed
for a video. This could be useful for statistics and to see how well a video
plays.
- An attribute to get the current state of hardware acceleration. This would
also be useful for statistics and help on troubleshooting if users experience
performance issues.
