https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=26893 Bug ID: 26893 Summary: text track default mode should be "disabled" Product: HTML WG Version: unspecified Hardware: PC OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Sourcing In-band Media Resource Tracks Assignee: silviapfeiffer1@gmail.com Reporter: b.lund@cablelabs.com QA Contact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-admin@w3.org Media containers may contain a variety of tracks that get sourced as text tracks but are not used by the application. In order to relieve the UA from having to create Cues in this case, the text track @mode should be set to "disabled" when created. Applications should set the mode to "hidden" or "showing" if the Cues are to be rendered or acted on by script. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
