Bug ID: 27290
Summary: 1.10.2, last example, grammar
Product: HTML WG
Version: unspecified
Hardware: PC
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: HTML5 spec
Assignee: dave.null@w3.org

The text should use future tense. And maybe a simpler way of expressing what
needs to be said. Way too confusing.
Now:
For example, "attributes" in end tags are ignored currently, but they are
invalid, in case a future change to the language makes use of that syntax
feature without conflicting with already-deployed (and valid!) content.
Suggestion:
For example, "attributes" in end tags are ignored currently. They will be
invalid, in case a future change to the language will make use of that syntax
feature.
(The following is a different context, has not much to do with the condition
before.) A future change to the language should/must not conflict with already
deployed (and valid!) content.
Finally, what deployed and valid content in the end tag?
