What if the release method took a key ID (or set of key IDs) as a parameter?
This would be much cleaner from my perspective as it gets away from the
somewhat nebulous idea of a "session" as a unit of storage. This way the app
could explicitly say:

    keys.release("MonthyPython.198237")

And get the very well-defined result that a particular key is cleared and no
longer accessible to the CDM.
