Be aware that "element" and "CDATA" - just as "nodes", are things that  does
not exist until paring, as I see it.

What I gather is that you think the current text can be misunderstood by people
from ”the XML world” - they might not think in "nodes".  So, OK, I will try to
think up something that is better and may be move the node talk to a note - as
you hinted.
