https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=24320 Bug ID: 24320 Summary: remaining issues from James Craig Product: HTML WG Version: unspecified Hardware: PC OS: Windows NT Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Using ARIA in HTML Assignee: faulkner.steve@gmail.com Reporter: david100@sympatico.ca QA Contact: dave.null@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-bugzilla@w3.org I (David) remedied about 30 issues provided by James, but would like Steve, Hans, and Gez, to look at these... . outstanding issues from bug 2289 for his full comments Starting with the "Recommended ARIA usage" table: 1) iframe (seemless) row that I added needs tweaks, and live link to element in HTML5 2)Element is not natively focusable (li, span, div, etc.) row I (David) added in response to his comment, needs example 3) Element that is a candidate for constraint validation but that does not satisfy its constraints... needs link to html5 doc 4) Element with an inert attribute... needs to be checked. YES (DEPENDS) ========== outstanding issue from bug 2290 for his full comments: "There should probably also be a note in the document that indicates how one should be able to include static non-interactive content in a dialog by using the document role to counteract the application mode. To my knowledge, static dialog content can only be accessed in Safari with VoiceOver. I believe the Windows screen readers disallow access to any static content in dialogs, whether or not the application mode is used. I consider this to be a bug, though not everyone agrees." -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
