https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=24297 Bug ID: 24297 Summary: The canvas spec has huge differences from WHATWG HTML Product: HTML WG Version: unspecified Hardware: All URL: http://www.w3.org/html/wg/drafts/2dcontext/html5_canva s/ OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: HTML5 spec Assignee: dave.null@w3.org Reporter: VYV03354@nifty.ne.jp QA Contact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org CC: ehsan@mozilla.com, eoconnor@apple.com, hsivonen@hsivonen.fi, mike@w3.org, public-html-admin@w3.org, public-html-wg-issue-tracking@w3.org, silviapfeiffer1@gmail.com Depends on: 21045 Blocks: 21046 For example, the W3C spec defines a constructor for the ImageData interface, but WHATWG's one is not. Note that this is only a tiny example of gazillions of differences. +++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #21045 +++ I was totally confused by HTMLImageElement's named constructor. If both spec editors won't work together, which spec do we have to follow? (Of course you will say "The W3C's one." :) It would be the nightmare if implementers have to watch both specs and determine which description is newer. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
