This would require a license server change to support a purely client side interaction. "Outputs changed" seems like a good general event to me, e.g. downscaling, Miracast'ing, HDCP enabled, etc. I can definitely see the application wanting to have this information. Do we need to define explicitly what the event looks like? Or can we have a high-level event with a context-specific modifier (or set of modifiers) like "downscaling"?
