https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=25309 Bug ID: 25309 Summary: 4.12.4.3 Color spaces and color correction Product: HTML WG Version: unspecified Hardware: PC OS: Windows NT Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: CR HTML Canvas 2D Context Assignee: jaymunro@microsoft.com Reporter: noel.gordon@gmail.com QA Contact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org CC: public-html-admin@w3.org http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/current-work/multipage/the-canvas-element.html#color-spaces-and-color-correction Seeking some clarification for this section. "The canvas APIs must perform color correction at only two points: when rendering images with their own gamma correction and color space information onto a bitmap, to convert the image to the color space used by the bitmaps (... drawImage" So "a bitmap" ... "the bitmaps" ... is this referring to canvas element's bitmap? What is "the color space used by "the bitmaps" ? What color space is that exactly? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
