https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=23362 Bug ID: 23362 Summary: Sourcing in-band text tracks algorithms need updating Product: HTML WG Version: unspecified Hardware: PC URL: http://www.w3.org/html/wg/drafts/html/master/embedded- content-0.html#sourcing-in-band-text-tracks OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: HTML5 spec Assignee: silviapfeiffer1@gmail.com Reporter: silviapfeiffer1@gmail.com QA Contact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org CC: cyril.concolato@telecom-paristech.fr, mike@w3.org, public-html-admin@w3.org, public-html-wg-issue-tracking@w3.org I noticed that the algorithm to extract in-band text tracks from Ogg isn't extracting the right information as in-band metadata track dispatch type. It needs updating to contain: 1. the format (that's the Content-type field in Skeleton) 2. the semantics (that's the Role filed in Skeleton) The label field should be copied into the TextTrack.label attribute. A similar inclusion of both format and semantics information is probably necessary for other file formats, too. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
