            Bug ID: 22186
Summary: Consider looking for instances of “you”, proposing
language that is little less direct
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: HTML WG
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Windows NT
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Using ARIA in HTML
          Assignee: faulkner.steve@gmail.com
          Reporter: david100@sympatico.ca
        QA Contact: dave.null@w3.org
                CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-bugzilla@w3.org

Consider a pass over the document looking for instances of “you”,
proposing language that is perhaps a little less direct,
unless there is a specific reason to speak in that voice such as:

Note: likewise, changing the role of an element does not add behaviours,
properties or states of the role used. You must add those yourself.

There are 33 instances of the word “You” in the document and I think moving to
the passive voice might help the overall tone of the document in many of those
instances.

For instance:

Note: likewise, changing the role of an element does not add behaviours,
properties or states of the role used. Those must be added separately.

Also, are we using UK or US spelling? ... Here in Canada, we use UK spelling,
but I think the default W3C is US English, is that right Michael? (behaviour vs
behavior)
