"The name and content IDL attributes must reflect the respective content
attributes of the same name."

The name attribute is limited and can't always reflect the content of the tag.
For example opengraph and application specific metatags are now invalid:

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="chrome=1">

<meta property='og:title' content='My Title' />
