https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=16256 Summary: say that using autofocus="" enhances the UX *compared to using script* Product: HTML WG Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: HTML5 differences from HTML4 (editor: Anne van Kesteren) AssignedTo: simonp@opera.com ReportedBy: simonp@opera.com QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-wg-issue-tracking@w3.org, public-html@w3.org, annevk@opera.com "Using this feature should enhance the user experience as the user can turn it off if the user does not like it, for instance." This doesn't say compared to what. It could be interpreted as enhanced compared to not focusing anything on page load, which isn't always the case. It should say "compared to focusing the element with script". -- Configure bugmail: https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
