http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=11939 Summary: Progress element max IDL attribute sholud reflect the maximum value instead of the content attribute Product: HTML WG Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: HTML5 spec (editor: Ian Hickson) AssignedTo: ian@hixie.ch ReportedBy: mounir.lamouri@gmail.com QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-wg-issue-tracking@w3.org, public-html@w3.org The value IDL attribute reflects the "current value" [1] which seems far more complex than the "maximum value" [2]. Reflecting the maximum value only adds one rule: if the content attribute is negative, it's returning the default value.
