http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=11937 Summary: Progress element should be indeterminate if the value attribute isn't a valid float Product: HTML WG Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: HTML5 spec (editor: Ian Hickson) AssignedTo: ian@hixie.ch ReportedBy: mounir.lamouri@gmail.com QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-wg-issue-tracking@w3.org, public-html@w3.org The specs currently says: "User agent requirements: If the value attribute is omitted, then the progress bar is an indeterminate progress bar. Otherwise, it is a determinate progress bar." I think this should be changed to: "User agent requirements: If the value attribute is omitted or parsing the value attribute's value according to the rules for parsing floating point number values results in an error, then the progress bar is an indeterminate progress bar. Otherwise, it is a determinate progress bar." -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
