http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=13423 --- Comment #5 from Shelley Powers <shelleyp@burningbird.net> 2011-08-14 12:59:23 UTC --- (In reply to comment #4) > I can leave the old buggy text in the W3C copy if that's what the working group > wants. I agree that my old text should be removed from the WHATWG copy though > now that we have a better version actively being maintained. cc'ing chairs for > advice. When people joined the W3C, and the HTML WG, they made a commitment to work as part of a team, and that their work would become part of the team's work. In my opinion, Aryeh should have approached the HTML WG, as a true team member, with his work and a proposal to split the editing API out. His effort would most likely have been gratefully accepted. Evidently, he decided another course. However, that has nothing to do with the _technology_, so... The text must remain in HTML5 until the WG decides to split it out, or do whatever. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
