There's a list of events in the HTML spec:
http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/current-work/multipage/section-index.html#events-0

It's not in the complete.html file because I haven't added all the events that
fire for all the bits that aren't in the HTML spec, like WebSocket. If you want
me to add those, attach a diff adding those events to the table and I'll merge
it in...
