Summary: 2.2.2. host object array replaced with platform array
object
Product: HTML WG
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows NT
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: HTML5 spec (editor: Ian Hickson)
AssignedTo: ian@hixie.ch

Found a reference to a legacy WebIDL concept. With the recent WebIDL last call
document, the terminology for this concept has been updated:
Current Spec text:
The terms supported property indices, supported property names, determine the
value of an indexed property, determine the value of a named property, **array
host objects**, and read only (when applied to arrays) are used as defined in
the WebIDL specification.
(emphasis mine)
Suggestion:
The "array host object" concept should be renamed to "platform array object".
