screen readers and assistive technologies handle text alternatives on image
maps and their corresponding area elements differently. Please include a
description of the expected behavior for situations where the text alternatives
for the individual area elements may not make sense without the added context
of the text alternative for the <img> or <object> that is associated with the
<map>.
