Summary: defaultPlaybackRate / playbackRate
Product: HTML WG
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: HTML5 spec bugs

It is unclear what happens when defaultPlaybackRate is set to a negative value.
It is also unclear what happens to audio. Presumably this depends on the codec,
but the specification ought to at least have some kind of note to that effect.
It is also not clear whether pitching will be normalized or not.
