Summary: add statement that the "checked" attribute on <input> is
a boolean attribute
Product: HTML WG
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
URL: http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/current-
work/multipage/forms.html#attr-input-checked
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Spec bugs
AssignedTo: dave.null@w3.org
ReportedBy: mike@w3.org
QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org
CC: ian@hixie.ch, mike@w3.org, public-html@w3.org
The paragraph in the spec that defines the "checked" attribute on the <input>
element does not state any constraints on the value of the attribute. It should
state that it's a boolean attribute, e.g., "The checked content attribute is a
boolean attribute that gives the default checkedness of the input element." or
whatever.
