> Silence will be taken to mean there is no objection, but positive responses are encouraged. If there are no objections by Thursday Sep 24, this resolution will carry. Since we did not received any objections to this CfC, this CfC passes. The Chairs and Team will now arrange for publication of the "HTML to Platform Accessibility APIs Implementation Guide" as a WG Note. /paulc on behalf of the HTML WG co-chairs Paul Cotton, Microsoft Canada 17 Eleanor Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K2E 6A3 Tel: (425) 705-9596 Fax: (425) 936-7329 From: Paul Cotton [mailto:Paul.Cotton@microsoft.com] Sent: Thursday, September 17, 2015 12:42 PM To: public-html-admin@w3.org<mailto:public-html-admin@w3.org> Cc: public-html-a11y@w3.org<mailto:public-html-a11y@w3.org> Subject: CfC: Publish "HTML to Platform Accessibility APIs Implementation Guide" as a WG Note The HTML Chairs are issuing a Call for Consensus to publish the "HTML to Platform Accessibility APIs Implementation Guide" as a WG Note. The candidate WG Note document can be found here: http://www.w3.org/2015/09/note-guide.html In March 2015 [1] the HTML WG agreed to publish a first public working draft (FPWD) of "HTML Accessibility API Mappings 1.0" [2] to replace the older "HTML to Platform Accessibility APIs Implementation Guide" [3]. This CfC is meant to publish the older out of date material as a WG Note and to redirect users of the older document [3] to the newer document at [2]. Silence will be taken to mean there is no objection, but positive responses are encouraged. If there are no objections by Thursday Sep 24, this resolution will carry. /paulc on behalf of the HTML WG co-chairs [1] https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-admin/2015Mar/0096.html [2] http://www.w3.org/TR/2015/WD-html-aam-1.0-20150407/ [3] http://www.w3.org/TR/2013/WD-html-aapi-20131001/ Paul Cotton, Microsoft Canada 17 Eleanor Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K2E 6A3 Tel: (425) 705-9596 Fax: (425) 936-7329 Given the expansion of related efforts following on the conclusion of ARIA 1.0 (and of HTML 5.0), it is proposed to leave this older document as is, published as a note, with pointers to the new work that supercedes it.
