The Working Group charter [1] has been extended until 31 December 2015. The remaining ongoing work in the Working Group are Media Extensions and, to avoid confusion, the Group is being renamed "HTML Media Extensions Working Group". The charter was updated accordingly: http://www.w3.org/2013/09/html-charter.html as wee las the Working Group homepage: http://www.w3.org/html/wg/ The expectation is that the Working Group will continue to use public-html-media@w3.org for its discussions. Following the W3C Advisory Committee review on the Timed Media proposed charter, discussions continued around the best alternatives to continue the work on the Media Source Extensions and Encrypted Media Extensions specifications and future work in the area of media. To prevent technical and patent commitment disruptions, the best recommendation was to allow the Media Task Force of the HTML Working Group to continue its current work. Future work on HTML is now happening in the Web Platform Working Group. Thank you, Philippe
