Janina: The HTML WG decided in May [1] to move ARIA in HTML [2] to auto publishing and we have been waiting since then for the PF WG to decide if they are okay with this. We have discussed the issue with PLH some time ago during a TF call, sorry I can't point to the relevant minutes off the top of my head. My recollection is that auto publishing for notes is on the RFE list. hth Janina Steven Faulkner writes: > Hi all, > > i requested that ARIA in HTML be moved to auto publishing back in April. > 5 months and no movement, can someone provide an update? > TR page http://www.w3.org/TR/html-aria/<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3a%2f%2fwww.w3.org%2fTR%2fhtml-aria%2f&data=01%7c01%7cPaul.Cotton%40microsoft.com%7c62623c1820c842fe72f408d2ad93b452%7c72f988bf86f141af91ab2d7cd011db47%7c1&sdata=wmwF5p1GVWLt1tA%2f4YU6Q5EfgItvl9YkviZ%2f0MNiU0w%3d> > editors draft http://w3c.github.io/html-aria/<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3a%2f%2fw3c.github.io%2fhtml-aria%2f&data=01%7c01%7cPaul.Cotton%40microsoft.com%7c62623c1820c842fe72f408d2ad93b452%7c72f988bf86f141af91ab2d7cd011db47%7c1&sdata=O7bgvmUgjPnjsGJ9sfMm5joKAP6vnVzY0OFINJPdvo4%3d> > > -- > > Regards > > SteveF > Current Standards Work @W3C > <http://www.paciellogroup.com/blog/2015/03/current-standards-work-at-w3c/<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3a%2f%2fwww.paciellogroup.com%2fblog%2f2015%2f03%2fcurrent-standards-work-at-w3c%2f&data=01%7c01%7cPaul.Cotton%40microsoft.com%7c62623c1820c842fe72f408d2ad93b452%7c72f988bf86f141af91ab2d7cd011db47%7c1&sdata=Hu5VSGcotgIwQ1Rq%2b8ZYYDrI4OTkfX9t9heD%2fVY9TPs%3d>> > > On 15 April 2015 at 10:26, Steve Faulkner <faulkner.steve@gmail.com<javascript:;>> wrote: > > > Can we auto publish http://www.w3.org/TR/html-aria/<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3a%2f%2fwww.w3.org%2fTR%2fhtml-aria%2f&data=01%7c01%7cPaul.Cotton%40microsoft.com%7c62623c1820c842fe72f408d2ad93b452%7c72f988bf86f141af91ab2d7cd011db47%7c1&sdata=wmwF5p1GVWLt1tA%2f4YU6Q5EfgItvl9YkviZ%2f0MNiU0w%3d> ? > > -- > > > > Regards > > > > SteveF > > HTML 5.1 <http://www.w3.org/html/wg/drafts/html/master/<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3a%2f%2fwww.w3.org%2fhtml%2fwg%2fdrafts%2fhtml%2fmaster%2f&data=01%7c01%7cPaul.Cotton%40microsoft.com%7c62623c1820c842fe72f408d2ad93b452%7c72f988bf86f141af91ab2d7cd011db47%7c1&sdata=3das6YaghFEYk2LHfushz0YgBLs5Xh96M7giT9%2bSUt8%3d>> > > -- Janina Sajka, Phone: +1.443.300.2200 sip:janina@asterisk.rednote.net<javascript:;> Email: janina@rednote.net<javascript:;> Linux Foundation Fellow Executive Chair, Accessibility Workgroup: http://a11y.org<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3a%2f%2fa11y.org&data=01%7c01%7cPaul.Cotton%40microsoft.com%7c62623c1820c842fe72f408d2ad93b452%7c72f988bf86f141af91ab2d7cd011db47%7c1&sdata=eFHzhXXM6OlQ9iaSzzzoG1M5ecqi0s7pnMNWTsK4o0g%3d> The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Chair, Protocols & Formats http://www.w3.org/wai/pf<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3a%2f%2fwww.w3.org%2fwai%2fpf&data=01%7c01%7cPaul.Cotton%40microsoft.com%7c62623c1820c842fe72f408d2ad93b452%7c72f988bf86f141af91ab2d7cd011db47%7c1&sdata=KPaKNgPX9yboWC%2f4ylMjB6Oqst9rXkEciOtL4tzT5jA%3d> -- -- Regards SteveF Current Standards Work @W3C<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3a%2f%2fwww.paciellogroup.com%2fblog%2f2015%2f03%2fcurrent-standards-work-at-w3c%2f&data=01%7c01%7cPaul.Cotton%40microsoft.com%7c62623c1820c842fe72f408d2ad93b452%7c72f988bf86f141af91ab2d7cd011db47%7c1&sdata=Hu5VSGcotgIwQ1Rq%2b8ZYYDrI4OTkfX9t9heD%2fVY9TPs%3d>
