Bug ID: 25003
Summary: modify required heading mappings to reflect reality
Product: HTML WG
Version: unspecified
Hardware: PC
OS: Windows NT
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: HTML5 spec
Assignee: dave.null@w3.org
Reporter: faulkner.steve@gmail.com
QA Contact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org

"h1 element heading role, with the aria-level property set to the element's
outline depth If specified, role must be one of the following: heading, tab
or presentation"
http://www.w3.org/html/wg/drafts/html/master/dom.html#sec-implicit-aria-semantics
the requirement to map heading levels to their outline depth has been around
for years but no one has implemented, considering modifying requirements to
align with all current implementations i.e. heading level = numerical value in
heading element name.
